I considered putting a poll here, where you read Camera’s Digest, and vote yes/no on whether you have a clue about what they’re talking about. But that would direct traffic to Camera, and I wouldn’t encourage that.

Somewhere in midst of this scatter-shot article, there is the mention of the news media confusion between the words ‘terrorist’ and ‘militant’.

Why not clear up the confusion and define the terms? Didn’t happen.

How about we start here: A simple protester is involved with civil disobedience. A militant’s form of protest involves language, and may spill over to property damage—which is a crime, and hurts people indirectly. A terrorist uses murder to disrupt the flow of society, with the primary goal being murder. Cause or not, the terrorist will murder. How about that for a place to jump off into discussion?
